From kitchen blues to a Blue Kitchen - that was the design journey for these homeowners. The clients’ vision for their kitchen was to accommodate their family’s growing needs - they wanted a large prep island, along with a place where their kids could do their homework. Also on their list was an Espresso station, wall ovens, a large professional style cooking range and kitchen sink by the window - to have a view while doing the dishes. Dark browns of the wood cabinets provide a perfect backdrop for the deep navy island and wall cabinets. Wall shelves were designed to provide a home for the homeowner’s herb and succulent plant collection. A thoughtful lighting plan was created - combining task lighting, accents and ambient lighting.
