The homeowner was looking for a fresh start in a new home. The vision for the client was to carve out a study in the large living room. The client also wanted to be able to showcase his art collections curated from his many travels. Sunlight pours into the room through the large bay windows and the high ceiling reinforces the largeness of the room. A palette of deep blue, oranges and greys was developed - a wall of bookshelves helps bring down the scale of the wall. The other space was the dining room area - the client had a vision for modern mid-century style furniture and lighting & a sophisticated vibe. The entire space was drenched in a deep olive green and the dining chairs were chosen to complement the overall effect.
